Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and, where applicable, the services Ring Ring Digital provides to your business. By using this site or engaging our services you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What we do

Ring Ring Digital builds and operates online presence services for local home service businesses. Depending on what a client has engaged us for, that can include a website and hosting, management of a Google Business Profile, automated review requests, missed call text response, online booking, and text message follow-up with that client's own past customers.

2. Fees and billing

• Services are provided for a flat monthly fee, agreed in writing before work begins.
• The fee is billed monthly in advance and recurs automatically until cancelled.
• There is no setup fee, no per-job commission and no percentage of your revenue.
• Third-party costs that are yours to own, such as domain registration, are passed through at cost and identified before they are incurred.
• Fees may change with at least 30 days' written notice, and you may cancel instead.

3. Term and cancellation

Engagements are month to month. There is no minimum term and no annual contract. Either side may cancel with written notice before the next billing date. On cancellation we stop the services at the end of the paid period, hand over the domain, and remove our access to your accounts. Fees already paid for a completed period are not refundable.

4. Ownership

• Your domain name is registered in your business name and remains yours.
• Your Google Business Profile, business content, logos, photographs and customer records remain yours.
• On cancellation you keep the website files we built for your business, along with the domain.
• You give us permission, while we work together, to use your business name, logo and materials as needed to provide the services.

5. Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate business details, including licensing information where a license is required for your trade.
• Hold the licenses, permits and insurance your work requires.
• Make sure any customer contact information you give us was collected lawfully and with the consent needed to contact those people.
• Review and approve messaging and site content before it goes out.
• Use the services lawfully, and not for anything deceptive or harmful.

6. Text messaging terms

These terms apply to any text message program operated by Ring Ring Digital, whether for our own business or on behalf of a client business.

How consent is given

You may be asked for consent to receive text messages when you call us, when you speak with a business we work with, when you type in a chat window, or on a written form provided by that business. Consent is always given knowingly by you and is recorded.

Program details

• Message frequency. Message frequency varies. For enquiry follow-up, expect a small number of messages relating to your request. For customer reminder programs run for a client business, expect no more than a few messages per month.
• Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard charges apply to messages you send and receive.
• To stop. Reply STOP to any message to end messages at any time. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent.
• For help. Reply HELP to any message, or call (562) 746-6600, or email [email protected].
• Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are never required to agree to receive text messages in order to buy anything from us or from a business we work with.
• Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Delivery. Delivery is subject to your carrier's network and cannot be guaranteed.

7. Acceptable use of this site

Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems, interfere with its operation, scrape it at a volume that degrades service, or use it to transmit anything unlawful. We may restrict access to anyone who does.

8. Third-party services

Our services depend on platforms we do not control, including search engines, listing platforms, hosting providers, messaging platforms and carriers. Those platforms set their own rules and can change them. We are not responsible for their decisions, outages, or changes to their policies, though we will work with you to adapt when they happen.

9. No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee search rankings, listing positions, phone call volume, enquiry volume or revenue, and nobody honestly can. Results depend on your market, your competitors, your pricing, your reviews, how quickly you respond and decisions made by platforms we do not control. We commit to doing the work described, not to producing a specific outcome.

10. Disclaimers

This website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ring Ring Digital is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business or lost data, arising out of or relating to the site or the services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Ring Ring Digital against claims arising from information you provide to us, from contact lists you supply, from your use of the services, or from your breach of these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and both sides consent to that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Material changes affecting an active client engagement will be communicated directly with at least 30 days' notice.
